Educational & Training Opportunities

We delivered more than 75 programs, educating over 4,000 healthcare workers in the 2024-2025 program year. Members enjoy complimentary or significantly discounted access to these programs, along with Continuing Education credits for many programs. To increase reach, many programs offer unlimited numbers of your workforce to attend.

Tools & Resources

As a member, you’ll gain access to a comprehensive library of proven patient safety tools and resources. MPSC actively curates and updates these resources to reflect the latest best practices. Members also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new tools informed by evolving needs and emerging safety science.

Improvement Initiatives

We develop and implement collaborative improvement initiatives that support your priorities and also engage non-hospital settings of care. Most recently, we offered a falls improvement initiative designed to reduce the number and severity of inpatient falls; myriad improvement efforts to improve safety and equity for mothers and babies across settings of care; and pediatric sepsis recognition and treatment.

Safe Tables

Exclusive to MPSC members, Safe Tables provide a confidential, legally protected space for peers to openly discuss patient safety events and share best practices. These forums foster candid conversations that drive meaningful learning and improvement across the region in a way that no single organization could. Recent Safe Table timely topics included Oxygen Tank Depletion, Patient Safety Events in the ED, Pediatric Sepsis in Urgent Care, Neonatal Resuscitation Communication, and many more.

Professional Community

Exclusive member opportunities such as the Patient Safety Officer Forum, specialized Listserv, annual conferences, and member-only initiatives, participants can collaborate, exchange ideas, and develop solutions to address common challenges. These connections foster valuable insights, strengthen care delivery, and drive collective progress in patient safety.

Collaboration & Connection

We offer unmatched networking opportunities that bring together healthcare professionals from across the region to collaborate, share insights, and drive innovation in patient safety. MPSC creates spaces for hospitals and health systems to learn from one another’s successes and challenges, accelerate improvement, and build lasting partnerships. These connections enable members to stay ahead of emerging issues, adopt best practices faster, and strengthen their impact on patient outcomes statewide.
